Great Price and Clean. I stopped for the day to play Disc Golf at Hanson Hills. I needed a room for just one day, it was clean, has A/C and the kind woman at the counter was a pleasure to meet. I would recommended Pointe North if you just need a simple place to shower and sleep.
Needed a quick place to stay and called around and decided on this place. What a wonderful decision! I'm laying in my room writing this review because I am that impressed. We were greeted by Adrian, the sweetest lady I've ever met and her adorable dog. The place is so cute! So much to look at and is decorated just like grandma's house. It feels so inviting and homey. I don't feel nearly this comfortable at your typical hotel chain. Only regret is not staying here sooner! We will definitely be back! PS the military rate is great! Anyone staying in Grayling for drill or AT definitely needs to stay here!
Simple, clean and amazing! Everything you might need, including friendly hostesses, microwave, frig , tv, HOT water which was amazing and everything was clean!!! ZERO complaints! Take one night and go visit this young lady that’s been in business for 33 years! As we were checking out, she asked if there was anything she needed to change or anything broke, that’s what I call amazing!!
We were coming into town late was glad to see this place still open and a room available. Cute comfortable family owned motel. Mrs. Adrian and her sweet family do well to provide a comfortable place to stay while visiting. Friendly. Thanks for the hospitality. We’ll definitely be returning!!
We really enjoyed our stay here! The five of us shared a room with three beds—it was very clean and we had plenty of space for our luggage and gear. The room also had a full-size fridge, a microwave, and a stovetop. The grounds are well-maintained, with beautiful trees. This is a great location for visiting Hartwick Pines, the Beal Tree Plantation, and the Au Sable River.
This hotel was perfectly situated on our way to Traverse City. The building is very well maintained and has a quaint decor throughout. A very nice lady takes care of everything with a dog that loves "Good and Plenty" candies. We were very satisfied with the service and the room. For breakfast, we went to Goodale's bakery about half a mile away with excellent sourdough donuts. It was a very enjoyable way to start our trip in North Michigan.
We needed a place to stay (Arrived around Midnight) and we were able to get a room. I love the old and warm feel of this place. Reminds me of every old grandparent's house. Jake the dog is a sweetheart and greeter when you walk into the office. There is even a room with a king sized waterbed!
